Dry contact disinfection surfaces and materials.

Colorless and unscented product for dry contact disinfection of areas, surfaces, utensils and small material with a high risk of infection, characterized by its ease of application and speed of drying.

Also suitable for the disinfection of Air Conditioning Units in air conditioning equipment and systems.

COMPOSITION

The formulation consists of a synergistic combination of Glutaraldehyde and specific Alkyldimethylbenzylammonium Chloride (Quat), in the presence of a balanced mixture of alcohols.

BACTERIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

DYBACOL-GT Liquid is an excellent disinfectant that has great germicidal activity.

1- Bactericidal Activity:
It complies with the UNE-EN 1276 standard at a temperature of 20ºC ± 1ºC, and the UNE-EN 13697 standard at a temperature between 18 ºC ± 1ºC and 25 ºC ± 1ºC, both at a contact time of 5 minutes, when organisms from essay are:

Escherichia Coli (ATCC 10536)
Enterococcus hirae (ATCC 8043)
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442)
Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)

It complies with the UNE-EN 1276 standard at a temperature of 20ºC ± 1ºC, at a contact time of 5 minutes, when the test organism is:

Salmonella enterica (CECT 545)

2º- Fungicidal Activity:

It complies with the UNE-EN 1275 standard at a temperature of 20ºC ± 1ºC., At a contact time of 5 minutes, when the test organisms are:

3º- Virucidal Activity:

Based on bibliographic data on the activity of its components, the product would have virucidal activity against the following viruses (1) (2) (3):

. bacteriophages of: S. termophilus
                             L. Bulgaricus
. lipophilic: Herpes simplex
                             Asian influenza
. as well as against: Influenza virus
                              Vaccinia virus
