Foam disinfectant.

Detergent, disinfectant, degreaser for surfaces (floors, walls and ceilings), containers, tanks, utensils and small materials, in all types of facilities in the Food Industry, as well as in the Livestock and Animal Health sector.

Its specific formulation also allows the application of the product in the form of foam, through the use of appropriate systems.

COMPOSITION

Combination of surfactants and alkalis, added with specific alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, in the presence of sequestering agents and stabilizers in an aqueous medium.

PHYSICOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Appearance: liquid.
Pure product pH: 12.0-14.0
pH at 4%: 12.5-13.5
Solubility: miscible in water in all proportions.

BACTERIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

1- Bactericidal activity:
It complies with UNE-EN 1276 and UNE-EN 13697, both at a temperature of 20 ± 1ºC, for a contact time of 5 minutes, and when the test organisms are:

• Escherichia Coli (ATCC 10536)
• Enterococcus hirae (ATCC 8043)
• Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442)
• Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)
• On the other hand, field trials have shown its efficacy, at the recommended doses against Salmonella sp.

2- Fungicidal activity:

It complies with UNE-EN 1650 and UNE-EN 13697, both at a temperature of 20 ± 1ºC, for a contact time of 15 minutes and when the test organisms are:

• Candida albicans (ATCC 10231)
• Aspergillus niger (ATCC 16404)

3- Virucidal Activity:
Thanks to the presence in its formulation of a specific Quaternary Ammonium Compound, an effective active ingredient against Influenza A viruses, as demonstrated by the different articles and scientific publications related in the References section of this technical data sheet, the DESSOL 111 product is a product of choice to combat Avian Flu, Swine Flu and Influenza A, as all of them are caused by Influenza A virus.
