TERMINAL DISINFECTION

Terminal disinfection consists of achieving total disinfection of the ambient air, as well as horizontal and vertical surfaces, and inaccessible places that are difficult to disinfect by other procedures.

This method allows the elimination of 99% of the germs from the treated area and must be applied periodically.

COMPOSITION

Highly stabilized synergistic combination of glutaraldehyde and orthophenylphenol (biphenyl-2-ol) in very well defined proportions, in the presence of solvents and propellant.

BACTERIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

It is an excellent disinfectant that has a great germicidal activity of proven efficacy according to UNE-EN 1040, UNE-EN 1275, UN EN 1276 and UNE-EN 1650 standards.

• Bactericidal activity:

It complies with the European Norms UNE-EN 1040 and UNE-UN 1276 under the test conditions of 20ºC ± 1ºC., For a contact time of 5 minutes, compared to the 4 official strains defined:

- Escherichia coli (ATCC 10536)
- Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538)
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442)
- Enterococcus hirae (ATCC 8043)

It also complies with the European Norms UNE-UN 1276 under the test conditions of 20ºC ± 1ºC., For a contact time of 5 minutes, against the strain Salmonella enterica (CECT 545).

It has bactericidal activity against Legionella pneumophila, complying with the new standards currently required by the Ministry of Health and Consumption.

Thus, it is in accordance with the UNE-EN 1276 standard and the draft European Standard pr EN 13623, at a dose of 0.1%, for a contact time of 60 minutes at 30ºC, and at a concentration of 0.08% , for 24 hours of contact at 30ºC, always in the presence of hard water and yeast extract as an interfering substance., against Legionella pneumophila (serogroup1) strain ATCC 33152.

On the other hand, field trials have shown its efficacy against Listeria monocytogenes.

• Fungicidal activity:

It complies with the European Norms UNE-EN 1275 and UNE-EN 1650 under the test conditions of 20ºC ± 1ºC for a contact time of 5, 15 and 30 minutes and 15 minutes, respectively, compared to the 2 official strains defined:
